Join us for another month of Beards, Books, and Banter Book Club at Paper Leaves! We are meeting to discuss Piranesi by Susanna Clarke. Piranesi’s house is no ordinary building: its rooms are infinite, its corridors endless, its walls are lined with thousands upon thousands of statues, each one different from all the others. Within the labyrinth of halls an ocean is imprisoned; waves thunder up staircases, rooms are flooded in an instant. But Piranesi is not afraid; he understands the tides as he understands the pattern of the labyrinth itself. He lives to explore the house.
We meet in person at Paper Leaves on the 3rd Sunday of every month at 3:00 p.m., and we will choose our next read for the upcoming month. Beards, Books, and Banter Book Club is open to all men in the Ellis County community, and we can’t wait to see you there!
