Greater Literacy Foundation
Greater Literacy Foundation, a nonprofit affiliated with Paper Leaves Bookstore, is a Christ-centered organization dedicated to fostering a love of reading by promoting book ownership and expanding access to literature. Through children’s readings, book donations, and community outreach, we strive to create meaningful connections and provide nurturing spaces where stories can take root. We are committed to serving the diverse communities of Ellis County, Texas, by building at-home libraries and cultivating opportunities for every child and family to experience the joy and impact of books.
Paper Leaves Bookmobile
The Bookmobile is an extension of our nonprofit’s mission to make books more accessible to families throughout our community. Throughout the week, we make intentional stops to provide free books and create meaningful opportunities that encourage a love for reading. Access to books opens the door to literacy, imagination, and opportunities that can impact a child’s future for a lifetime.
To help support these efforts, the Bookmobile also participates in local events and markets. A portion of every purchase made goes directly back into funding free books for families in our community.
