Join us for another month of The Club at Paper Leaves! We are meeting to discuss Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. This enchanting novel tells of the doomed love affair between the sensuous and rebellious Anna and the dashing officer, Count Vronsky. Tragedy unfolds as Anna rejects her passionless marriage, exposing herself to society's hypocrisies. Set against a vast and richly textured canvas of nineteenth-century Russia, the novel's seven major characters create a dynamic imbalance, playing out the contrasts of city and country life and all the variations on love and family happiness.

We meet in person at Paper Leaves on the 3rd Sunday of every month at 4:00 p.m. to choose our next read for the upcoming month. The Club is open to all young adults ages 18-25 in the Ellis County community, and we can’t wait to see you there!
